Lisa
Monet Brown is first and foremost a sinner saved by
grace. Although she grew up going to church, it wasn’t
until college that she had a profound encounter with God
that changed her life forever. Since then she has been
on a journey to grow in grace and the knowledge of the
truth and to live coram deo, before the face of
God.
Early
in life Lisa was exposed to foreign languages and people
from different cultures and decided to become a foreign
exchange student to Solingen, Germany after high school.
She spent one year with the
Horst Schnug family, whose daughter had spent a year
in Lisa’s home. The love and talent for learning foreign
languages compelled her to study German and Russian at
Texas A & M University, where she graduated magna cum
laude with a B. A. in December, 1983. In order to
pursue her Russian studies more deeply, she completed a
master’s degree in Russian Language and Literature at
The Ohio State University in 1986.
Professionally, Lisa has run the gamut from waiting
tables to insurance claims adjusting to working with
refugees to TV production to missionary work to teaching
to personal training. In 2006 she finally decided to
take the plunge into entrepreneurship and started her
own home-based business. Lisa is a born teacher and
coach who desires to help others live an excellent life
through her entrepreneurial pursuits.
Lisa
dreams of making a great impact in the world and leaving
an influential legacy through her efforts to live a full
and balanced life of service to others for God’s glory.
